Welcome to MANO's New Executive Director!

We're excited to announce that our new Executive Director joins the Media Arts Network of Ontario this week.

Victoria Kucher is an accomplished filmmaker and arts leader with over 20 years of experience, whose passion for arts and culture has propelled her to a recognized and respected profile both locally and internationally.

Victoria has led arts organizations such as the Hand Eye Society, Counterbalance Collective, and Secret City Studios. Victoria puts story and mentorship at the centre of her work, previously as the Senior Producer at The Canadian Film Centre, and is a passionate community builder sitting on the board of StopGap Foundation, Scarborough Arts, and Ontario Creates IDM Advisory Committee. She has also worked as a fundraiser with the AFC, helping support entertainment workers and artists, and Producing for the Planet.

Victoria is thrilled to join MANO and to bring her experience and passion to the position of Executive Director. She will work alongside outgoing ED Elida Schogt for the next several weeks, who looks forward to resuming her art practice after serving MANO's members for three years. We're grateful to Elida for her leadership and wish her all the very best.
