Mission

The Media Arts Network of Ontario (MANO) was created in 2009 to provide a representative voice for Ontario’s media arts sector. MANO advocates, builds networks, supports professional development, and amplifies communications for media artists and arts workers across the province.

Mandate

  • Create opportunities for collaborative exchange and knowledge sharing among emerging, mid-level and experienced media arts organizations, collectives and artists
  • Respond to the needs of Ontario media arts organizations and collectives with advocacy initiatives
  • Model a commitment to accessibility, equity, diversity and inclusion
  • Recommend policy changes that benefit the media arts sector at the provincial and federal levels
  • Advocate for better living conditions for artists and arts workers
