VUCAVU is a bilingual organization that works with independent film and video distributors from across the country to improve access to Canadian artworks and provide greater national and international awareness of our filmmakers, video artists and culture.  The platform currently streams a shared catalogue that spans 50+ years of Canadian moving image art which includes 1,500+ films and videos accessible to the public and an additional 5000+ titles restricted for curatorial and research purposes.

VUCAVU shares and makes its technology accessible to the national arts sector to help Canadian artists get paid for the viewing of their works online.

VUCAVU.education is an initiative of the VUCAVU.com platform.

VUCAVU.education is a streaming platform that gives educators and students access to a curated selection of independent Canadian film and video art spanning more than 50+ years. The shared catalogue includes documentary, fiction, experimental, and animation titles from artists across Canada, offering many unique views into the country’s cultural landscape.
